Neighbors caring for neighbors

Waxahachie Care is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides food and other assistance to our local community Neighbors in need. We strive to be the caring neighbor in Ellis County through partnership with people like you.

Leviticus 19:9-10 "When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap your field right up to its edge, neither shall you gather the gleanings after your harvest. And you shall not strip your vineyard bare, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the sojourner: I am the Lord your God."

Curbside Pantry Distribution

Each month, Neighbors come to CARE to receive groceries. These items are gathered from the donations we have at the time.

Drive up and meet a volunteer or staff member in the parking lot, have your CARE card ready, and wait in your vehicle until your food is placed in the designated area for you.

Letter from the director

What a journey and what a ride it has been since coming to Waxahachie CARE in 2018! I am very humbled and honored to lead a great group of employees & volunteers. I am blessed with a fantastic board of directors and look forward to the plans God has prepared for us.

If you are a donor, I want to assure you, your monetary donation is being used to further our mission and passion in reaching our goals of helping those in need & we are very appreciative of your generosity.

If you are a Neighbor, we are here to help you. We give to you as people give to us, so if you need something other than food or utility assistance, please ask, sometimes we get items that might be just what you need.
